♡Some of you may know that we have an official webstore besides Etsy. This store is on MySpace, heehee. We have decided that it may be best that we venture away from the MySpace world and actually create our own world for our little creations and for all our customers and viewers to go to without feeling any obligations to sign up with MySpace or Etsy. IK team meets Simone Legno of Tokidoki!

I finally got a chance to meet Simone Legno!!! The creator of Tokidoki :] Taken place at South Coast Plaza at Costa Mesa ^__^ It's good to be in Cali!

I missed Simone Legno, creator of Tokidoki, at the Melrose Tokidoki store opening because it was pretty cold and I didn't want to cause my boyfriend to drive a kazillion miles just to get an autograph. Luckily last month I found out that he was coming to Costa Mesa. I just had to meet him! It was going to be at a place I was most familiar with (sorta) and who knows when he'd be back to visit :[ So my boyfriend and I planned our trip ^___^

We came in our Tokidoki clothing, of course :]

We made it safely to the big mall ^_^ The line wasn't too long. Once Sephora opened, the crew gave us all wrist bands with numbers so that we can go ahead and roam around the mall (it was barely 10am and Simone is to arrive at 1pm) and come back to our spots. We were number #22 and 23 ^__^ I've made some purchases in order to get a free frenzy ($25 purchase). It's so weird I didn't intend to buy anything, but this week I lost my L'oreal mascara :[ So, I decided that it'd be cool to get the Tokidoki Mascara! Haha. But it wasn't enuff to get the freebie, so I purchased some Cactus pups finger nail buffers xD They're so cute! As for the freebie, we got Bastardino ^.^ I let my boyfriend have it because he loves the doggy :]

After shopping in Sephora and oogling at the cuteness of the stuff, well, me oogling at it and squeeling with excitement, we decided to walk around the mall ^_^

When we got back, there was A LOT of people, more than before. There was a photo session going on with SANDy ^_^

Not even 1pm yet, and Simone Legno appears O_O He waved to everyone and went into the store to sit in his booth. He had so many markers that he brought by himself in his own Tokidoki bag ^_^ We're lucky to be in the first group to go in, even before 1pm he already started drawing for everyone! Everyone was to go one on one with him =^.^= I was so uberly nervous and excited and happy! So many thoughts went through my mind. I've also brought my first Mini Munny that I made around 2007 or 08 and was inspired by him. I wanted to let him have it for being such a sport of making his fans so happy and also taking the time to draw everyone their fave Tokidoki charrie.

My heart was beating so fast as we came closer to getting to his booth. Wubzies (boyfriend's official nickname since we dated) was trying to calm me down and one of the crew lady was cheering me on that it's our turn soon =^__^= Then...it was our turn. I gulped and blushed and went up to Simone. He greeted with a simple hello and a warm smile. I was so shy and spoke really timidly. He then got my name which was written on the post-it. He...he got my name RIGHT on the first try when he said it. I was in shock! Not a lot of people get my name right =/ but he did! I was like OH MY GOSH. Every person gets to have one sketch and one signature anywhere. I chose the unicorn cause I don't have anything with the unicorn on it, and I asked the signature to be on my Mozzarella vinyl figureenie ^_^ He grabbed his sharpie and went ZOOM ZAP CHEWY! He was drawing really fast! It wasn't the type like he wanted to get done fast, but like he was used to drawing all of them xD It was so impressive!

Then...I took out of my bag the mini munny I made, Riko, and said all shyly,"I...made this for you." A smile came across his face and he looked at it for a long while and said thank you =^_^= Then picture time!

Eep! I didn't know how happy I really was during this event! My dimples are showing in this photo above and throughout the whole way going home X__X My boyfriend was very lucky on his sketch :P We're only suppose to get ONE charrie, and he got two because he could not make up his mind. He requested to Simone for Adios to walk Bastardino xD! Wubzies was very happy too :]

After he got his sketchbook back and got his picture taken, Simone said bye to us, and then...he looked to me and said,"Thank you for the present ________(my name, haha, I like it anonymous on here)". I felt like dropping on the floor since he remembered my name. But instead I was like hyperventilating until we got to the parking lot...well not even, cause it continued on the rest of the way home xD Me and Wubzies were in so much wow! It really, really, felt like a dream! We finally met Simone Legno of Tokidoki! The creator of all the stuff we wear and adore! I still feel like omg. The day ended with some In n Out for linner :]

I'm so very very happy to have gone to this event! I'm glad Wubzies made sure we went :D haha. That day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Meeting Simone, getting a really good quality mascara!, being with my boyfriend, In & Out, seeing my boyfriend be really happy!, encounter an ol' buddy at Frank & Sons, another ol' buddy at Wubzies' house, finishing up my vocab, coming home without mommy going snappy, and now, bloggy this day and remembering it! It still feels too good to be true that we met him. I really owe it to my honey-bunchies! He just wanted me to be really happy, and glad it's the whole day with nothing gone wrong ^_^

This is the best day of the year yet! I'll never forget this =']

I haven't been doing much with my shop, but did run an awesome spectacular contest! I've been busy with school and trying to get a job. I want to become a lady. Anywho, that fact is important because, I somehow got some sales and had some monies ^_^ I was looking to see if a friend of mine said when she'd be going to Germany. I went to her shop and was like OMG NOOO!!! It was sooner than I thought! I vowed to myself to buy at least one thing in each of my closest Etsy buddies' shop! This was a good chance to buy before she would go. But, what captivate me most was this bunny ring as I'm wearing =^_^= perfect for Easter and I do adore the fluffyness :] I just had to have it! Even if I am always on budget, but it's good to treat myself to something besides sweets ^_^ Also she was departing from USA :[ but for a happy ending of course ^_^ heehee. I'm honored to introduce to all my readers (if any, har har) Miss Mercy! My shopping experience with her is amazing! When my bunny arrived through the mail, I was so happy! It was carefully packaged and inside was like a party favor ^_^ I even got a lollipop, her cutesy business card (omg, you have got to see her Etsy banner!), and plastic bows for my hair :] Everything so cute and simple! I simply love her style. Her items are always very unique! I've known a lot of fellow kawaii kitschy sellers who take cute stuff and put them together, but wowwie, her stuff is amazing! It's so full of detail and life. I window shop a lot at her shop xD Blah, I can go on forever about her shop! Let's take a look at our interview with her ^__^!

1. Introduce yourself:
hello :) my names is meghan rose perrings am currently 29 years of age and a proud army wife! i guess you can technically say that i am a little gothic lolita girl at heart in appearance and personal style - but i love creating and crafting all sorts of fun items for many lovely subcultures in fashion. i am still a little girl at heart and love the simpler things in life- small things make me happy :D

2. What do you sell in your shop(s)?
in my shop on etsy i sell a variety of items (mainly jewelry- but i do throw in a few handbags, shoes, purses and home decor from every now and then) that reflects my small view and love for the fashion world! i love lots of style of fashion subclututres and admire all the different aspects of each. my shop mainly focuses on cute whimsical girly kawaii japanese inspired lolita items and well as vintage kitsch and pinup and retro horror and gothic steampunk from time to time. being a gemini i have ALOT of various interests that take me all over the map in my style and i love the eclectic nature of it all. you never know what you might find! or that i might create!

3. Where do you get your ideas and inspirations from?
i try to get my ideas and inspiration from my life in itself. i am still a little kid at heart and love shopping and lifes simpler pleasures. i try to be fun and whimical when creating and enjoy the process as much as the finished items themselves. i focus alot on my childhood and all the happy memories it contains for me as i still try to see things thru the eyes of a child now and then. i try to create pieces that i would want to wear myself and that others hopefully will enjoy as well. i focus on the fun side of life and try my best in making interesting and different pieces.

4. Besides crafting, what else do you enjoy doing?
i have so many varied interests! i love traveling and history as well as historic inspired costuming! i am a huge medieval nerd and spend weeks on end every summer at renassiance festivals all over dressing up and particapting in the festivies! i love the forest and reading. as well as shopping of course and flea markets! i also am very into vitnage old scholl horror films and classics. i love vitnage and retro items and the histry they can tell us. i have been a various archaeological digs that i enjoyed immensly. and last but not least spending time with my wonderful soldier husband!

5. Is there any advice you can give to newbies who are selling handmade stuff online?
my best advise would be dont give up! if you have a passion for something and you love to do it- dont quit. selling esp when you first start out can be slow- but do all you can to get your name out there. as long as you love what you are doing you will always have a smile on your face!

6. In your opinion, is it competitive selling kawaii kitschy accessories?
i am sure techincally it is considered competitive- but i really do not see it that way. i am so so honoured to be amoung such amazing and wonderful crafters on etsy! lots of these sellers totally blow my mind with what they can come up with! its insane! granted alot of the supplies can over lap but i think there is a respect amongust us all that we care cretive enough in our own right to make wonderfully amazing items differnetly out of the same stock.

7. How do you promote yourself?
i try to network as much as i can online :) i also try to trade with other sellers every now and then if i can :) i have a myspace page and a twitter as well as a flickr account

9. What cartoon character do you like and why?
gosh thats hard! there are so many!! obviously i LOVE hello kitty and all sanrio characters. i grew up with them and i love them to death. i adore my melody and the sugarbunnies too :) i also am a huge san-x fan and have a HUGE collection of san-x. i love the not so normal charactures that they create- i love kogepan and nyankos as well as cheese family too! i also have to through these two charcters from watching these movies many many times when i was little that i still love to death - unico the unicorn from the adventure of unico and nicodemus the rat from bluth's cartoon the secret of nihm. and lastly- i love tokidokis too and have too many! but i cant help it - the charactures as so cute! <3 xoxox

It's been 1 year now since I've kept this little hobby of mine up, polymer clay sculpting and decoden. Even though I don't keep the stuff, it still makes me pretty happy to get request from others to see what I can do with their idea. What makes me even more happier is that their face lights up when they received the finished creature or thing ^__^ I've never gotten a frowny face yet! Heehee. I must admit, I'm still an amateur polymer clay charm maker, it's not as cute or really nice looking as all the polymer clay charm makers out there that I love and follow, but that doesn't stop customers coming to me :]

Imperfect Kawaii, is meant to be a secretive small shop, not to grow bigger. I have no intention in making the shop well known, maybe some day when I'm older (because nursing school is my first priority in a few years). Without having promoting the shop so much except in casual tweets, DA submissions, and a few chats, 242 items have been sold alone! My co-worker was impressed by the numbers since we don't promote our shop so much. We couldn't have done it or even keep going without our sweet customers! Thank you all very muchy ^_^ You are all a sugar cube to my cup of tea, making it extra sweet and delicious. In this matter, making this shop keep going ^.^ Hope you all stay tuned for more stuff!

Another news...it's almost going to be 1 year since I started Imperfect Kawaii! ^__^ hooray! I thank my friends for being so supported and telling me to keep making charms. I'm surprised I have stuck through this hobby all the way, but hey, I do love creating what I make and having people buy them or asking for customs, it makes me pretty happy too =] It keeps me going at this little hobby. I had a very very lovely Valentine's Day =^__^= The Friday before Valentine's Day, I baked with my boyfriend :] We baked strawberry banana heart shaped tiny cakes ^.^!!! I ate some of the ones I thought looked retarded xD! I have an oven now...but no mixer T~T chu! Anywho, while boyfriend frosted the cuppy cakes, I made my Valentine cards for my friends ^___^ I bought a Hello Kitty pack xD! It's hard to pass up a $1 good quality Hello Kitty thingy! haha. Besides, last year, I made my friends paopus...so now this year, something edible ^__^ Here are some piccys!

They're yummy-er than it looks ^_^; If you remember my old first cake charms, it's based on my boyfriend's mom's cake she makes a lot :]

After all the baking and frosting and card making, we packed up the cupcakes and drove all around the area to deliver to my friends ^_^ All my single close friends get a cake to themselves, while couples have to share =P lol.
The day of Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I decided to join his aunt's little party that she wanted to try. She wanted to do a backyard romantic dinner theme ^__^ So off we were to L.A.!

Once we got to his aunt's house and through the gates and CC the Pomeranian (heehee, my puppy's aunt), this is what we had to stroll on to get to the main area:

I decided not to use flash for the camera because it kinda ruins the mood ^__^; but here's a snap shot with flash!

Kinda looks bleh, but it shows what they used :] The lights were pretty dim and full of candles and rose petals ^__^ Lookie the ceiling thingy:

The food was all home made and oh so delish!!! There was roasted chicken, roasted pork, scampi, bread, and this sweet and tangy salad (I didn't get salad). The food was so scrumptious and tender ^___^ Then the best part...DESSERT!!! oh yes oh yes oh yes! Here's pics of the table of desserts...in two shots!

I certainly love love loooove the tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries made by his mommy ^__^ So cute! And the tart is so delicate and yummy!

My Dream House

My boyfriend and I have had this discussion several times before. My plan is, after I become LVN, work for 2 yrs, buy my mommy a nice house, go back to school for RN, and finally be done with school, I want to buy a nice simple cozy house for me and hopefully hubby xD We plan after I finish buying my mom a house, that me and him shall save up together for a place of our own, and puppy ^___^!

Okie! Enuff of the seriousness! Heehee, now onto the dreeeeam house! We were discussing more of the interior while we were eating at the Old Spaghetti Factory (check out on image google! You'll be amazed of their interior!). Also, that time (which is this month), I was packing some things up in the house because my fam and I are moving, my room mate grandma gave me a reaaally vintage phone! We were having a yard sale, but oh my goodness, I could not resist!

It looks exactly like the picture above! Weird I found this on google image on the 1st page! Same design, except the dial thingy is the classic circular dial ^___^ OF COURSE I KEPT IT! It's so cool! Luckily my boyfriend was fine with this ^.^! So we've decided that we'll have a Rococo style for our house's walls and furniture ^___^

But there's a twist of course ;] Most of our appliances are going to be Hello Kitty :D!!! My boyfriend sighed and says he'll be in Hello Kitty Hell big time xD! We're also going to have our Tokidoki vinyls and various Kidrobot vinyls too ^___^! We hope to have 4 bedrooms so one will be ours, two for kids, and one for half his studio (he wants to be a storyboard artist and needs that kinda desk) and half for my crap ^_^

As for myself, I want to work as a RN 3-4 days a week (that's how the schedule goes), be a great smexy wifey, a fab mommy, and still continue Imperfect Kawaii (maybe not as much, but will explode every season or so, haha...probably what I'm doing now). Also, I'll be preparing my hubby's lunch in a big Hello Kitty bento head xD! He's like," she's gonna be everywhere! On my food too!" Yea, this whole dream is a big stretch, but we've kept a pretty good promise to both finish school and save up ^___^ It's definitely a dream you have to work for :D

Victorian Tea Party :] yay!

Yay! For my birthday this year, the theme was a Victorian Tea Party (told ya themes were awesome!). I dressed up in a soft dusty pink color dress which has a princess style. I also used accessories like my tiny tiara and heels from Bodyline, my LOVE teddybear ring from my own shop, and my crown pendant from Destination Design (my big sister, pearls are from Clair's). I managed to slightly curl my hair ^__^ teehee. I had lack of sleep T_T There were contests to prepare for, a cook off and a dessert off! It was held at one of my friend's house instead of the park ^_^ so nice of him! My boyfriend and I helped him and his girlfriend and her brother set up =] The set up was perfect, it was like a dream come true! Heck, we had the banquet tables!

Soon the guests arrived with their dishes for the contest. We were all dressed up so elegantly (except for our camera man and one certain person u_u). Everyone had their own special tea cup or mug! We had a variety of dishes for the cook off! We had my chicken alfredo, bread sticks, 3 different tea sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches Persian style,and Papa Rellena (a Peruvian potato dish). Everything was soooo scrumptious! There was also so many tea flavors to go with it such as: mango peach, mix berry, green tea, jasmine, black tea, tea from the UK itself (friend went there for a semester), almond tea, and vanilla honey. My favorite was the black tea mixed with milk, and the mix berry was very divine. Oh my goodness! In one day I had about 40-50ish lumps of sugar cubes in my tea!!! Why? I forgot to stir with a spoon and was just swishing my tea bag around to stir. It was my first tea time besides green tea (I don't put sugar in green tea) ^__^;

As if that was enough sugar I had, there was the Dessert Off! We had chocolate dipped madelines (and strawberries, she was kinda bribing me xD), candied yams, apple pie, coffee mousse cake,chocolate cookie mix on the table! and then my birthday cake. Oh, everyone was so full from the cook off entrees! I like how our tea party was like an actual tea party! We sat, drink, nibble, and talk ^_^ Everyone seemed like they were enjoying, and I can't believe it turned out like I dreamed, the banquet setting that is, food, and the bestest friends xD There was about 12 of us. When it came to voting, we have set up a voting place near the kitchen on a table. People would vote anonymously or put their initials. They voted for one favorite cook off entry and one dessert off. What won was Papa Rellena, so he got a gift card to BJ's Restaurant, and for dessert off, it was the coffee mousse thingy who's reward was a gift coupons to Baskin Robbins ^__^ good cause she does like sweets too!

Our photographer had to leave early, so we took a group picture in front of the house ^__^ lookie how everyone is dressed! So awesome! They've all really captured the Victorian look in my opinion! After that we went back inside and eat more food and drank tea xD! We opened gifts and they read me their poems they made for me ^__^ And then played the game Loaded Questions. I had a good time. It felt like a very relaxing time, just being with my bestest buddies, eating, and sippin tea. Everyone said it was a wonderful tea party they've ever been ^____^! Any theme or wherever, I'm happy it's with my friends and my hunny to help :]

I really enjoy theme parties. Never really been to many except Hawaiin themes. Last year my friends threw me a birthday party :] and I chose the theme of 80s! Because it was uberly last minute! Heehee. It was so much fun. Decorations were hand made and some borrowed from friends like a Transformer's poster. There were 80's candies that me and my bf were lucky enough to find at 99cent stores and Universal City Walk x] We even watched some 80's movie. My close friends don't throw huuge parties, more like just our group. I love themes ^_^ Here are some photos :D It's not like SUPER accurate of the 80's (like the video games we played or food):

that I've never talked about who I am ^_^; heehee. Like I heard from Etsy that some people LOVE reading a seller's profile summary and get to know the individual. Well, I'm dedicating this one post about me ^.^! I plan to actually blog a little more if something comes up that can benefit to crafting, cooking, baking, shopping ideas...things like that. Kind of like that one post I did about swap parties and how I held one ^___^ So yea, most things will be about the shop, and some about my personal activities. Okie dokie! I'll put in sections!

LIVING
I live about 30-50 miles away from the great Los Angeles, California. My town is smack dab in the middle of everything. It would only take me 20mins to get to Disneyland or Knotts. To the beach? About 30minutes. I must say I'm pretty happy where I live. This town has a lot of stores I love and food! I can get American, Italian, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, some Vietnamese, Mexican, Japanese, and Filipino foods ^__^ There's so much variety and I'd love to stay here for my whole life. I live with my mommy and daddy and grandma. I am half Chinese (mommy) and half Filipino (daddy). We mostly dine on Chinese food more than Filipino and other foods. I am an only child (sadly) and I suppose I am a little spoiled, but only for things that are really needed and essential to my education or health (things to wear). Regardless of having no siblings, I have a blue/gray Pomeranian who was born Feb 23, 2007 and given by my boyfriend. I feel so happy coming home from school and seeing this pup ^_^

LOVE LIFE
I'm currently (and hopefully forever) with a total sweetheart! Heehee, and I've had a lot of evil twisted weird exs! I've finally met someone who loves me for me and not because of my appearance ^__^ It's a pretty long story about this guy :] I can go on and on forever! He's able to handle all my cry baby times and puts me back in place. He's very very close to me and I'm able to speak whatever is on my mind. Now, I'm a pretty closed person who wouldn't tell others how I feel or what I have in mind, but I'm 100% comfortable with my boyfriend. ^___^ He always makes me smile and feel oh so good. He pampers me like a princess and treasures me like an angel :] Yep, I'm one lucky gal~! Oh yea, and as a crazy twist, we're an interracial couple ^__^ He's Mexican while I'm Asian, and my mommy is old school. We've been happily ever after since Sept 2, 2006 ^__^!

HOBBIES

WELL! I'm pretty much usually studying nowadays...but when I want to take a break from the books, I love hanging out with my friends! We're not the type that likes to go out to clubs and drink or hook up with strangers xD Heehee, no no! We like to just hang out somewhere or someone's house, eat and play video games or youtube ^_^! I love them so muchy! Other than that, I'm pretty much into the art field. I like to draw and color a lot ^__^ Not as much as I used to when I was younger though. I'm always moving from different art forms. I've drawn, colored, paint, pastel, origami, sing, dance, and now sculpt clay and decoden. I just know if some kind of project requires a form of art, I'll go crazy and become a perfectionist over it! I do love projects that require creativity and color ^___^ I like hanging out with my boyfriend and have random adventures together =] Oh and play with puppy! I love shopping!!! omg, I cannot stress that enuff xD but I shop mostly for things I need. I wish I could splurge, but I'm not the kind to splurge x] Unless my boyfriend offers a Hello Kitty shopping spree which happens once in a while :3

COLLECTIONS
I'm a huuuuge collector of Sanrio stuff! Especially Hello Kitty! I was influenced by my older cousins on my daddy's side since I was still a toddler. I saw they collected Sanrio stuff, so I decided to do so too (that time I only had two Hello Kitty things). My collection kept growing and growing as the years passed by. Since summer 2006, I saw this cute bag at Macy's. I didn't really want it since I wasn't a purse kind of person. It was a Tokidoki purse. My mommy bought it for me ^_^ I did some research of the brand and fell in love with it xD So I kept up with new products and influenced my boyfriend. We both now collect Tokidoki stuff when we can. I plan to get a wallet, more shirts, and other stuff. I know it's pricey, but my mommy buys the bags for me. Recently, she got me a Tokidoki backpack and my cousin gave me a cellphone bag ^.^ This photo is a picture before my backpack and cell bag. I also tend to collect kawaii flake stickers and memo papers. I use them in my scrap book of me and my boyfriend ^__^ My biggest collection is of various stuff animals that I grew up with and gifts given to me :]

FOOD
I LOVE ITALIAN AND JAPANESE FOODIES!!! They're my favorites!!! Chicken Alfredo Pasta is my fave! For Japanese, I love terriyaki beef steak with shrimp tempura on the side, nyum! I also love the little snacks of Japan. My favorites are crepes with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, nutella, and whip cream ^__^ yum! I'm pretty lucky I live close to this dessert and snack place that's like in Japan called Genki Living. They sell crepes, taiyaki, and more Japanese snacks! I also love Meiji Apollo Chocolates and Strawberry and Milk Pocky =^_^= my mommy always packs me Pocky for school since I was in elementary! Sometimes I like yan yans. I like some American snacks, but they were from the 90's like those 3D doritos and those peanut shaped waffers with peanut butter inside. My boyfriend and I love reminiscing about the good snacks from the 90's, lol. I also love chicken strips with honey mustard =] Oooh, and cookies (chocolate or white chip, and peanut butter), ice cream (oreos and cream), and cupcakes makes me very happy!

DISLIKES
I don't like flirty people who flirt with any moving thing they see =/ Sorry. I really don't like super arrogant people. Most of the boyfriends I had were super arrogant xD Also, sarcasm makes me cry.

I haven't blogged in awhile! Well, Finals are over! Sadly, I didn't make it into the LVN program because I didn't feel enthusiastic after one of my friend kinda abandon me and around that time one of my uncle passed away T~T so yea, lots of emotions floated around my mind and I lost energy. I was like Acing everything in the beginning, until my friend dropped a bombshell on me. Okies! Enuff of that!

Sooo...I'm pretty busy after the finals...I had to wrap my mommy's presents that she bought for people, 62 of them!!! Eep! I have yet to wrap mines ^_^; And, I have lots of charm customs to do and one decoden project ^___^ yep! omg, and also prepare for my birthday O____O

I'm making some changes xD I've already added little notes on the main shop on MySpace like what the items are and what not on their albums ^__^ On Etsy, I updated my policies O.O yea...better read that! Annnnd I has a new banner and avatar. Now, lookie what I made last week :D

Wow! Only 30ish more days till Christmas left! Eeeperz!!! And like, less then 10 days to get your commissions of cellphone/charm charms in! That's right! Yay! I got one big commishy the other day from Germany ^_^ which...I must start working on ^_^; teeheehee! And I got a phone to deco :] woohoo!

I'm very happy that I sold my iphone case that I deco (you know, the one that's all pink and bunnies). With that monies made, I was able to buy my Secret Santa it's gift :] We make a list of what we want btw on an index card with our names and draw outta a hat ^_^ So yea ^_^ I hope to keep getting sales cause I got my bf to buy for online, and the Secret Dollie part of the Etsy Tea Party Team to do ^_^ I plan to give my Secret Dollie a special deco'ed box to put her stuff in and buy her something cute and useful =] Buying things for people with money I made from doing what I do makes it feel more special. It's like I worked hard for it. I created something for someone to make them smile, they pay me and I use it to buy another someone special something. I just love it. It's like a never ending chain of making people smile. It's not the same effect if I use my allowance money, haha.

Okie enuff of that xD that's just a lil inside joke between me and DestinationDesign/Ann, lol. So, to translate this, I actually had a non-payer. Worse, it was a non-communicator aswell T~T I reaaaally would of appreciated it if the person convo'ed me or replied to my emails saying,"Hey, cancel these things. I don't want them anymore" or "I'll pay it in 6 months" something like that xD But no. It didn't respond at all. It's so weird because I posted my main policy in my shop announcement, and before checkout a message to buyers :[ It's like what the effin way? I looked at it's feedbacks and it goes up and down =/ And some of the items bought were paid the same day e___e I was so sad when it didn't pay the first day cause I felt I was being teased in a way. I wish it had convo me that it cannot pay right now but really wants it. I'm not that anal T~T I honestly would hold an item a month or more if I had to as long as the person keeps in touch with me. All I ask is for communication. Anyways, I'm happy now that it's out of the way and it's not the worst ever to happen to someone. I have heard others. But, I never knew I would actually have no mercy to actually leave a negative feedback, but hey, communication is #1 to me as a seller to a buyer relationship. I'm pretty sure others agree, even if they're policies are strict like mines. But yea...I'm happy now...craving some blue berry muffins.

Okie dokie! Let's do the updates of the boring stuff first xD haha. Sooo, here's the dates again!
November 30th is the last day for any charm/cellphone/figureenie customs! I'll be working on those last minute order the week after that. Also after that day, I won't be shipping out of U.S. Why? Cause I don't want you mad at me that the item didn't come for xmas ;___; So if you're outta state, get shopping done! Especially now cause a lot of my stuff is starting to go away e___e; like slowly...and then there's also my other shop that can take the items on Etsy too, and there's also my local fans xD

So today I went to Michael's and bought these Pink Bubble Wands ^_^ I was planning to buy them for my Birthday Tea Party as favors :] The thing is, there's too many of them! Haha, I have small parties that consists of 10-16peoples, and there was 36 wands O_O I thought and thought, and then came up with an idea. Why not have some fun and do a love game! I learned it's kinda hard to sell on Etsy, and I value all my customers who have chose to shop at my shop ;___; they're so awesome! Soooo! I decided to do raffles :D yeah yeah! After 10 items have been sold, boom, a raffle towards those 10 entries! So every listing you buy gives you a chance into the raffle. I'm going to change the prizes of course from every round. This first round will be everybody who has shopped before. Yea, since day 1 that I started! So when that 60th sale happens, RAFFLE TIME!!! So my task now is to find a good random chooser thingy ma-bobber. Anyone recommend one? Oh! The prize! duh! Haha! Of course, a Pink Heart Bubble Wand (you'll probably see this for awhile, lol), 8 different Hello Kitty memo sheets (STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN! My mommy's friend came over to visit and gave me a lot!), one custom tart ring, and a mystery coupon! I hope that sounds good! Actually Deco'd a Diff Phone!

So I've only decoden my own cellphone, the shell (it's a sidekick08), but the other day I remembered I bought an iPhone case ^__^ It was plain baby pink! Still pretty cute by itself, but I bought it to decoden it ;] I didn't heavily deco it since the pink case is pretty cute, and decoden does weigh the object down a bit, eheheh... ^_^; cause I know my phone was light and when I decoden it, it like gained 3lbs xD! You get used to it being a bit heavy. Oh, and this case actually had 2 holes where you can actually put a cellphone strap through, woohoo!!! I remember my friend has an iPhone and I gave her a paopu, she had to stick it where the pen was x_X;;; I added a little pink bow with this one ^_^!Here's the 3G iPhone case all deco'd ^_^ I call it Pink Sugar Attack!

I titled it "Pink Sugar Attack" cause I randomly added a bunny at the back, and the phone being mostly of pink, reminded me of my favorite Sailor Moon character, and also it's part of a story behind my nickname ^_^ One of my favorite Sailor Moon Character is Sailor Mini Moon! Lol, and my old screen name for AOL when I started interneting was Chibiusa1888 haha. Anyways, she had this attack called Pink Sugar Heart Attack ^_^ And, the character is just full of pink! Her hair is pink, outfit is pink, and she likes bunnies ^_^ hence her hair being rolled up like bunny ears ^.^ Oh yea, besides her, my other fave is Sailor Venus ;D But, my nickname now isn't referred to her too much. It's just the fact my boyfriend sees me as small and precious to him, so he calls me Chibi Hime or just Princess...or just Chibi @_@

*theme song plays as she walks onto the stage* Hello everybody!!! We have a special guest today! She's one of the sweetest and cutest dollies out there!!! Amber from Laceybabydoll.etsy.com! I noticed her when she hearted my shop on Etsy when I started selling on there. I clicked her icon and it lead me to such a beautiful shop! Light pink, gold accents, and cute flooded through my mind when I saw her shop. And I was like,"SHE HEARTED MY SHOP?!HER SHOP IS SOOO GORGEOUS AND CUTE!" and believe me, I react like this when I see someone else's shop to be more superior than mines. It's also an honor. Anyways, I have window shopped at her shop. I can't wait till after xmas when I can splurge like crazy, and her shop will be where I splurge first ^_^ teehee. Couple months later I realized she had a link to an Etsy Tea Party Team and that others can join. I contemplated whether I should since I'm already busy with school. But, I decided to join and we've been talking a lot ^__^ Wow, she's super sweet! Just like a doll indeed! Her shop is so adorable and I definitely love the theme of it! Amber:My name is Amber and I am the girl behind Laceybabydoll on Etsy. I was born November 30th, 1987 in a small town in Pennsylvania.

Me:What do you sell in your shop(s)?
Amber:Mostly I sell jewelry and accessories. Occasionally I sell clothes. I'd love to someday sell more clothes but unfortunately at the moment I don't have enough time to make many.

Me:Where do you get your ideas and inspirations from?
Amber:Mainly from fairytales or from things I love from my childhood. I also adore sweet lolita fashions because they are so girly and feature many of my favorite things.

Me:Besides crafting, what else do you enjoy doing?
Amber:I love to go shopping! Whether it be at malls, online or just thrift shopping. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, going for walks--especially in the Fall since it's my favorite season--and collecting vintage charms.

Me:Is there any advice you can give to newbies who are selling handmade stuff online?
Amber:Just to follow their dreams and never give up on something that they truely love doing!

Me:In your opinion, is it competitive selling such adorable items for fellow kawaii/cute lovers???
Amber:It can be competitive! Especially since there are a lot of cute items on Etsy for Kawaii lovers. However, I try to keep my items as creative and unique as possible because of this!

Me:How do you promote yourself?
Amber:I don't really do much to promote myself. I do have a YouTube account where I post videos of my items--and sometimes sales. I let friends and family know about my shop though as often as possible.

Me:Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Amber:Hopefully still doing what I love to do--creating! I would love to own my own shop someday, so hopefully that dream will come true! It would be really nice to have a family of my own by then as well! I hope I'll have a floppy eared bunny by then too!

Me:What cartoon character do you like and why?
Amber:I love Hello Kitty because she's always so adoreable! I have had quite the obsession with her since I was around five or six years old! I also recently started to really like Minnie Mouse because she's so girly!

Customable Sweet Tart Ring

So I came up with an idea with the idea to use tarts as like a serving cup for dollop whip cream thingies ^_^ I like messing around with the whip on objects :] I do miss real baking xD heehee. Anywho, so I decided to make dollop rings, except they're on tarts. I also let my customers decide 1-3 toppings of their choice from the provided menu. So, I'm like a small PinkBerry or Yogurt place and you pick the toppings and I swirl it and put the toppings =^_^= here's some pics!!!

Oooh, and I sold my 2nd Edition Cupcake Necklace in a day or two! It was so exciting! Cause it looked like a disaster to me T___T It was uber pink~!

Busy week this week! eeperz!

Oh dear, I have so much to do this week!!! I'm studying so much to make up those days. I have some rings to show and sell, but those will have to wait till next week, because this week is my boyfriend's birthday!!! yay!!! Wednesday we're going to the L.A. County Fair o^__^o he's going to get me that gigantic gelato that I looooove so much! heehee. I'm uber excited for that! Admission and Unlimited Rides= $20, not bad compared to paying for each ride T~T Then Thursday (day of his bday), we're going to Disneyland!!! His parents are so sweet! They paid for my ticket...ah I must buy his daddy a delicious mocha cake for his bday fersure! Friday I have to deliver locally to Teddysaur =] buuut...I can't be there for a long time due to the fact I gotta study A LOT...it's conversion of the metric system and that's my weakness...so I must spend time on that. Then Saturday, I'm taking my hunnie out to lunch or dinner at Claim Jumper! =^.^=

For my Etsy shop, I will be using the money I make from there to save up for my dad's side of the family. The part of Phillippines that they live in got hit by the typhoon pretty badly. The flood took up a lot of the houses there and a lot of people died =[ I seriously have no idea if they're alright. We tried calling, but the lines are cut off. So I'm praying and hoping they're alright and safe in one of those retreat places or something. Once I know fersure they're okay, I'm going to give my sales money to them to help them get a start again with their life after the damages. I appreciate those who purchase from the shop, and or just pray. I know it's selfish to ask to pray for them, but yeaaa...I need hope xD I get happy and sad on and off. Ondoy Flood/ Rocktober Special

Sooo this weekend was fun, but also heart breaking last night. I found out from my parents that Phillippines had a huge typhoon and it hit Manila and some other places. My family [both sides of family] were affected by it drastically, especially my daddy's side. I know my mommy's side of the family is alright because she called them and some were able to answer. My dad's side however, it was hard to get into contact. One of my cousin called my house, but the line dropped =[ I'm praying that everyone in the Phillippines are alright, but wow, there's so many damages.

As a special, I'm starting Rocktober Special earlier due to this issue. My daddy's side of the family live in the slummy parts of town and rarely have monies. So as for today and till whenever they're okay, I'm giving the money I make from sells on Etsy to my family over seas since they need it the most. I've decided for purchases over $10.00, I'd give a cell phone charm, memo papers, kawaii pencils, erasers, coupons, whatever I got of those things along with the small freebies as a thankies for the support! It's a really hard time for them and it's been hard for me to really sleep =[ so hopefully they are alright and that whatever money I can make can contribute to helping them. Also, it'll help clear my shop before going away.

Chimica: My name is Chimica.. I'm 21. I'm a mom, I'm a pro webmaster with 17 websites and I'm a cook book writer. I love crafter. Normally I craft digitally because my son is so young and loves to tear paper and get into everything.

Me: Lol! What do you sell in your shop? =]
Chimica: In my main shop I sale greeting cards, recipes and printables.... I like selling these items because they don't cost way to much to make which mean I can give my buyers some great prices.

Me:Where do you get your ideas and inspirations from?
Chimica: I get my ideas from digital scrapbookers. Since I have a baby I scrapbook a bunch. I also get ideas because they help me so I think they may help other people also.

Me: Besides crafting, what else do you enjoy doing?
Chimica: I really enjoy cooking. It relaxes me a bunch and I can write recipes all day if I had the time. I also enjoy writing poetry and of course playing with my baby.

Me: What advice can you give to newbie sellers selling handmade stuff over the web?
Chimica: My biggest tip for new sellers is to stay positive. Even I at times get depressed with lack of sales. Always keep your head up.

Me: In your opinion, is it competitive to sell greeting, holiday, etc cards?
Chimica: OH MY GOSH.. It is very hard to sale anything really because almost all things you sale someone is selling the same thing. It can be very stressful when other people are selling their cards for $.75.

Me: How do you promote yourself?
Chimica: I place links of sites that reach my target market and I chat in different forums. It takes a bunch of time. I also market on sites that sale handmade products.

Me: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Chimica: Having a 10 year old baby.. and with my PHD in optomatry.. I also see myself with many sucessful websites. I honestly don't know if my cards will still be selling after 10 years. Things may become harder with people selling their items for much less or it may become better.. only time will tell.

Me: Who is your favorite cartoon character and why?
Chimica: FUNNY QUESTION! Everyday my son and I watch SCOOBY DOO. I love love love that show. However I also love winnie the pooh but it comes on at like 5am so we can't watch it.. I do have like all the movies though.. GOTTA LOVE A CUTE BEAR THAT LOVES HUNNY LIKE THAT YOU KNOW..

yay! I'm pretty happy in work and school ^_^ First school, haha. I'm doing so well! I'm actually getting A's on my test! Lol, I only had A's in Sociology throughout my whole college life xD In Highschool I got A's, but wow, this class I'm actually doing well. I hope I never loose focus :] I also pray to GOD to keep me strong in my studies because I wanna be top 40, and I will get there! Even though this is an entirely different path I decided to go through to get to RN, I think it was meant for me to suck in my first 2yrs of college...cause I wasn't studying well or even put time and effort to my studies, and I was pretty depressed half the time cause of my mommy's nagging. But, ever since I joined this pre-LVN class, I've been pretty happy and more determined. Heck, it is a lot of studying, but I'm not stressing out. It's so awesome to listen to my heart.

Now the Imperfect Kawaii shops xD I like where it's at. It's not like a big brand name or anything, but I just enjoy the pace. I can take my time to do commishes and work on other creations to sell later. I'm happy to get an average of like 10 sales a month than like 1 or none xD And it's good money to just shop online, pay little bills, and sometimes transfer to my bank money to save up. Since I'm not horde on with a kazillion orders, it also allowed me to study better and schedule my time between work, school, and play. I like my shop slow paced since it's not my main source of money. I get allowance from daddy for just being "cute" xD haha, and the shops' sells are like pocket money for online purchases. Ooh, I've been doing deco-hime stuff for other stuff than my own stuff xD I shall post them in the shop next year :] I want to show them in like a Winter Line thingy like some brand clothes and bras do.

Hmm, oh~! And a sucky note now xD My printer refuses to print unless I have black ink! O___O Sooo...I have to ship items like every other week when I have hard cash in my hands. I think I'll be able to get ink next month fersure! Now here's some charms I made this week and nails:

Tender dumpings everywhere, something something scare...this is Halloween! Okie, so I dunno the words to the song, but omg, my boyfriend knows the songs from Nightmare Before Christma too well xD He sings along throughout the movie ^_^; ehehehe...

I made some Halloween theme charms ^.^ hooray! This is the first time I made Halloween charms :D Since I'm sooooo busy with studying, I only made one of each thing O_O! Thus I say they're Special Edition and Limited Edition. I hope everyone likes their looks xD I even wrote a little background story for each item ^_^;

Charms:

James the Candy Corn Cutie->He was always outcasted by the other candy corns in the bag since he was off color and disfigured body. He's still a sweetheart to everyone around him no matter how much they may tease him.

Sugar the Black Cat->She just loooooves being on the roof tops and just taking naps. Lots of people try to whack her away from their house due to the myth of black cats, but all she wants to do is nap on their roof tops.

Mini Batty Bat Bat Bat->The littlest member of the Bat Charm family. He is just nicknamed "Mini" and loves flying off into the night and loves to help his friends.

Spookay the Ghost->He's such a friendly ghost! Humans have always fascinated him for years that he wants to become friends with any human being he see's. The problem is, when he tries to befriend them, they run off in fear.

Kurt the Pumpkin->Never looses hope that he'll one day be picked out from the pumpkin patch regardless of his little size and his weird shape.

Together they make a perfect group known as Imperfect Halloweenies. They stick together and want to make the most of Halloween when it arrives ^_^

I've decided to make a special special every month, nothing TOO big unless it's a very special ocassion ^__^ This month's special is BUY 3 AND GET FREE SHIPPING! at any IK store [etsy or myspace]. I've also added some new earrings to my shops ^__^ yay! They're Hello Kitty B Graded, totally imperfect but...cute xD haha. And then there's the awesome Keroppi!

I'd also like to mention that I plan to go on vacation inactive mode in December due to finals [it's all or nothing!]. I shall re-open the shops after New Years and explode with different items~! yay! So far on my list while in school, I have several charms to release!

As for school so far, only 40 of us out of 200 will be chosen to be in the LVN program. It's for those who score really high in the class. Oooh, pray I get in T__T I have to be working my big booty off this time since I kinda slack for pre-reqs for RN, but hey, this is truly a good idea to get into this pre-req for LVN, cause now I'll be more focus fersure and serious about my school. Most of all, I'm doing it for myself instead of my mommy. So this is what my typical days would look like:

Monday- school, study
Tues- study, 1-2hr of charm stuff, study, maybe get ice cream?
Wed- school, homework, sleeeeep unless bf comes xD
Thur-study, 1-2hr of work, study, stuff, study
Fri-study, 1-2hr of work, study, and bf day!
Sat-study, 1-2hr of work, study, and if anything planned with friends or whatever.
Sun-study, study, study, and bf comes :D

Sooo yea...that's my life...mostly studying everyday, probably wednesday I'd study lightly and then relax. So yea, I'll still be doing my shop stuff, but not too much like usual in the summer. During winter break I'll be working on a lot on charms cause it will be 1yr for Imperfect Kawaii and gotta get back to what I sold before ^___^!

Destination Design! She's not the first person I bought from xD but she was the first person I met in an Etsy chatroom and just talked as if we knew each other in real life. She's such a kind person and I look up to her ^_^ I met her when I was starting to sale on Etsy, and just being a friend was a great experience! Lol, I spent most my summer days on Etsy [I have a life outside too!!! this is just waiting for friends to get ready]. She is also a clay user :D And I look up to all those who use clay! Her stuff is so adorable T~T She's always there for me too when I need tips on selling and just talking to her made me feel relax all summer ^__^

The first thing I bought from her were these PIGGIES for a friend's birthday:

I was excited waiting for the mail, but kinda bummed I didn't get something for myself xD One day I was so surprise to see a package for ME with colorful dots on them O_O I was like WOOOOOOW! *insert my jaw dropping face here* well, I smiled mostly xD heehee. I opened the package up and got a sweet freebie ^__^ yay!!! something for myself! Lol, for some odd reason the piggies weren't in there, but Destination Design solved it! :D yay!!! She made fresh piggies for me and shipped it to make it to my friend's bday e___e I felt very special, and even more so that she gave me a ring! I wear it a lot and think of her and the Etsy times during my summer break. I also just had to come back and get these Hello Kitty bows xD!

I enjoy window shopping at her shop, and eyeing stuff I wanna buy when I'm done stocking up my own stuff to make. She's so kind and creative with cuteness! Her shop is the perfect place to shop at for any occassions! You'll get that giddy effect like I did when I recieve a package from her :] And when you see or meet her at an Etsy chat, she's one of the most friendliest person you'll ever meet! She's still young but I know she'll be really successful and continue to make Hello Kitty and kawaii-goodness proud!

I'm a very very satisfied customer and had a wonderful experience! Seeing her items and owning a few, I can tell she has put a lot of love and time into them. The Time Has Come

For meee to go back to school! On Monday! I'm taking a pre-LVN course, and I have to get 94% or better in the class in order to get into the program x_x eeer...So yea...I won't be on muchy :S Very sad to say...I'll miss everyone on Etsy chatrooms! *sniffles*

The Cheap Shipping is being limited to up to Aug 30th, cause I will have a busy week trying to get my school stuff straighten, so I won't have time to really fix everything up. After that day, effective immediately, outside of U.S. shipping will now include mandatory insurance! I want to be safe and have a package delivered well across the ocean and get there safely. And if it doesn't, it will be like a refund for the person. As for U.S., same S&H, and if there's anything wrong, they can solve it with me easily ^__^

and there goes my Mooshy Bean Prince off to Mexico. *sniffles* I miss him so muchy! He supports me so much on my charms ;_; he makes the hooks for the charms and estimates the prices for them xD *sighs*. He took me out to dinner and to cuddle. We had In-n-Out ^__^ nyummy!!! If you don't live in Cali, sorry xD buuuut, come visit!!! It's great burgers!!! Plus, I'm here and like to chill when I'm not burried in books! After that, we went to Joghurt, a self serve yogurt bar :3 Mmm, I had lots of oreos and cookies, and he had fruits in his. It's Happy Hour after 10pm ^__^ pretty neat and cheap! :D Great deal! So the wedding was small and awesome =^__^= I'm so happy for my friend :3 She looked soooo gorgeous in her dress! One of my friend called me a Fairy Princess due to my outfit...long white skirt with ruffles, pink ruffle top, and a flower crown that my boyfriend bought me from the Renaissance Fair a year ago ^.^! I love Etsy so much!!! It is such an addiction, ahhhh!!! ^_^ but now, I have to not chat it up so muchy soon as school will be on my butt all day. Bleeeeh. I wish my summer was longer x___x wah. Makes me want to stay at CSULA, but I'm done there. Welpz, plan on making more earrings soon and launch Royal Desserts II next year! yay!!! it will have pearls and rhinestones this time instead of glitter. Okie, I just spoiled it xD dang!

As for Etsy, sales are still the same way xD Get lots in beginning and ends of months. Another happy note, I GOT 100 HEARTS NOW!!! YAY!!! Well, more like 102, but still, yay! ^__^ and I feel I'm SLIGHTLY getting better at photos...slightly. When school starts, I won't be creating much new things. Swap Party

This isn't a very Etsy or seller related topic, but I thought I'd share it. I held a swap party last weekend with some chick friends ^__^ The goal was to clean out our rooms and bring any stuff that is in good condition and you didn't need. It could be clothes, accessories, whatever. So the girls came and we had some snacks. We piled all the stuff unto a table and just grabbed whatever we wanted =] It was neat! I got some cool earrings a friend didn't want, and I plan to wamp it up to sale. She knows my motives xD Atleast it's going to be put in good use! I also got these cute jumbo nerdy glasses and a Hello Kitty shirt! I think anyone who needs to get rid of stuff they don't need, a swap party is an awesome way to get rid of things! heehee, you give some, you get some ^__^

On another note, I'm sad my boyfriend is leaving me for Mexico for a family vacation xD I'm such a selfish girl! I haven't been not calling, txting, seeing him like crazy for the past week or two,lol. He leaves next Thursday. He sucks.

I made 4 rings the other day, yay! I had made some for myself to wear too ^_^ some of my friends have seen some already =] Here there are! They're hime inspired n_n

July went by soooo fast! It feels like July 4th was just yesterday o_o; Anyways, my earring thingy majiggers came! yay! now I can make earrings like the big girls ^___^ well..that equals more charm making for me ^_^ oh well! As long as I have my bf by myside making the hooks, I'm half way done ^.^ w00t w00t! Also, I bought a printer from Target, it's a scanner, printer, and a copier! yay! So I can now print out reimbursements and what nots =] and can scan my fugly stickers for higher quality xD bleeeh.

I'm planning to do a Back to School giveaway later this week and ending it like mid August, cause gotta ship that baby out ^__^ I have two prizes to give away, 1. I had an awesome time Thursday ^___^ I met up with Teddysaur [the red hair] :D I knoooow dangerous! We met on Etsy, then exchange MySpaces [even my real myspace!]. Why? We were both down for trading cute stuff :D Well, I don't think mines look cute, but her's does. Sooo, she called me the night before and got all quiet when I said hello xD She was pretty woah'd at my voice. The next day, I went to Lolicup to meet up with her since I just live like 5mins away from the school she goes to for summer classes. Lol. she totally stood out xD I was pretty shy, but I got comfy with her after like 10mins [which is ultra rare since I've never met her in person before, but I felt like I knew her for quite sometime]. She is freakin h i l a r i o u s~! She made me laugh so muchy ^___^ It was awesome. We were both...quite opposite but also had so much in common =^___^= I hope to deal or even just hang out with her again. She is uber awesome :3 and so effin random too. xD Wow. Just wow. We talked about so many things from Etsy to etcs~!

and they are part of Royal Desserts ^__^ Okie! So I'm not going in order yet for charms...It's just I'm pretty happy what I did this weekend =] it turned out cool~!

<~~~Here's the Big Strawberry Cake Ring[adjustable of course] ^___^ I'm happy of how it came out! I epoxy'd it unto the ring base, and sparkled the frosting part for just effects ^__^ Then I glaaaaazed it so it's durable =] FYI, this cake is an eraser...well...IT WAS an eraser ^_^ teehee. I'm selling these $3.50 because, it is just an eraser super glued unto a ring base xD Haha, wait until the big mamas come! I'm making Hime style rings soon o^___^o cause I loooove the princess look! ;D I know I'm gonna end up keeping some for myself x] Okie okie! Here's the other ring I made too~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

My Hello Kitty Sidekick~!

I decorated my phone like around April ^_^ It took me 4 long hours =___= but it was worth it ^__^ heehee, I have too many Hello Kitty in my purse and in my room xD Too many but not enuff! lol. Sooo yea, this is the first thing I ever decoden. How I found out about decoden? Well, I ordered off of eBAY this Hello Kitty magazine because it had Tokidoki in it too xD When I got the magazine, I schemed through it and looked at all the piccys [it was in Japanese], and I stumbled upon this cell phone add of Chiara and saw that the girls were decorating their phone with pearls, rhine stones, Hello Kitty cabochons, etc. I was like woah! I must have this Chiara product! I looked in Sanrio stores and they only have like 5 pieces for $7.00...my bf said to find something else xD I went to this lil Jap store in the mall that's all about glam, and they had Chiara stuff...it was puuurdy pricey for only a lil bit. Then I went and researched about Decoden and found diff sellers and such ^___^ so yay! And I was happy to find out that you can even make your own decoden stuff with just clay. I've just ordered some deco goodies today :] can't wait to decorate another changable shell for my phone! woohoo!!!

Yay! Made my first couple sets of deco goodies! Well...just one kind xD heehee. I made little pink heart biscuits! I made a kazillion for myself and to sale.

I'm enjoying my summer break very much ^_^ I'm working on stuff and stocking up for my litto shop, and having fun~! Can't wait till July to have $$$ to buy more supplies [not a whole lot,lol bf will be mad sorta] and deco my phone again! Something new in le Etsy Shoppee

Sooo...I made a new category ^_^ It is called, "Weekly Special" where I list an item for a week or two and have something special about it like BOGOF, Free Shipping, lowered price, etc. Yay! Been 1 month of being a seller on Etsy and made 8 sales! It sounds a lot to others, so I believe I did well =] Can't wait till July...MAJOR SUPPLY SHOPPING! Will only spend about 40ish bucks ^__^; BF cannot be mad at me!

By July, I'll be working on hime goodies :D because I've always wanted to. I'll be making quite a number of things because school will be hectic again~! In celebration of being an Etsy seller for a month, I'm giving away a special secret item that I've made related to deco hime stuff! These items will be released mid-late July ^__^ hooray! 1st Month of Etsyness

Tomorrow marks 1 month I've been selling on Etsy o^____^o hooray! I have made 8 sales this whole month. Some people say that's good ^_^ Etsy has been very kind to me =] The people there are soo soo sooooo sweet! It is very competitive on that site, but everyone is so friendly towards each other and supportive =^_^= It kinda reminds me of nursing majors...we all stick together even though we're really in competition to get into the program xD The awesome part is my eyes opened up to other crafty goodies like making candles [there's so many cool ones! omg! it's better than the ones at Bed Bath Beyond], fabrics, more crochet stuff, yummy baked goodies, sock plushies that are in Japan trend now, wood work, more jewelry, and like...A LOT! I've also managed to meet the charm makers I have looked up to several months ago. I've met a lot of nice people in the chatrooms ^_^ haha, I usually dun go into chatrooms, but these people keep me comming back! I love it ^_^ I hope next month and the following months stay the same =] lol, I haven't stayed on MySpace too long ever since I got into Etsy xD

I like how going into the chatrooms and getting critique, will better my store. So yea, my piccys suck butt xD My usual area where I took photos [there's diff between the earlier ones and the pink background ones] is that I take good pics at a certain area at my house with good lighting...unfortunately, that part of the house' electricity is off O_O and we have yet to fix it! ahhhh!!! Hmm hmm..oh yea! Someone is promoting me at craft fairs ^___^ yay!

Yesterday there was a Stock Up Clearance Sale at Michael's :D I couldn't resist! I bought a lot of polymer clay to stock up! It was 4 for $5!!! Those things are usually 1.99, but they were 1.25 each if you're buying 4 ^__^ I felt it was the smartest thing ever of what I did! heehee. I have so much clay...I bought 8 cause I make small stuff so it's enuff to last till Christmas o.o MAN! If I didn't think of exchanging those clasp ring thingy for another size, I wouldn't have known there was an awesome sale!!! So yea...I'm stocking up on various charm items because when school starts, I won't be able to make a lot, but if it is a commission, I can, but hopefully it's only 1 item xD har har...Also, next month I'll be doing a lot of decoden cause I want to style my sidekick again! :D hooray for changable shells! woohoo! o^__^o can't wait to go supply shopping! I loooove decoden! It takes sooo much time though, but it will only be this month to do it and then sell some x]

Neon Sugar Donuts

After the paopus, I moved unto trying to make other things. I youtubed charm making stuff and found a tutorial on how to make donuts x] It looked pretty simple, so I tried it out. And what did I come up with? These little darlings! I painted them with acrylic paint and put faux shredded crystals to make it look sugary ^__^ As for the colors, I got influenced by seeing a lot of neon colors from Hot Topic. I got the impression that maybe neon colors are big right now xD I've also added a little mug with the straps as hot coco,lol. These are made to order n_n~! How Imperfect Kawaii came to be

It all started Feb 2009, near Valentine's Day =^___^= I was working on my boyfriend's valentine's day gift, and my closest friends from high school came into my mind. They weren't as excited about love day =/ I was also reminded that Valentine's Day was also the Friendship Day ^_^ So I wanted to do something for my friends too! But what...I thought of Valentine's Day cards, but I want something they can bring with them always (I carry a Valentine's Day mini card from my friend Kariboh in my wallet x] ). During this time, I was playing a video game called Kingdom Hearts II, and then it came to me. OF COURSE! Paopus!!!

Paopus are star shaped fruits and legend says if two people share the same fruit, their destinies will forever intertwine. Most of my buddies know this game and the fruit. Now came the how do I make it xD I've searched several stores looking for the real fruit because they do exist. Then one night I went through deviant art and just typed in paopu. There were so many ways. Then there were these paopu charms...EUREKA! I decided to make cell phone charms so they can hang it unto their phones or keys or bags! yay~! So I went to Michael's, bought materials, and began making them :3

I'm so glad my friends liked them so muchy =^__^= They encouraged me to make different kinds of things =] I had extra pairs of Paopus and decided to sell them to KH fans and eBay. They sold out quickly!!! O__O My friend Michy (who later becomes Graphic Bun Bun due to her gosu skillz) gave me a shiny penny to use in pictures to show sizes ^_^ also to make more. The ones I've sold on eBay, got a lot of recognition. I have also enjoyed keeping in touch with my customers and even had the honor of making party favors of over 50 paopus! o^___^o Paopus certainly do make people come together in a way too =]

From then on, I keep on experimenting with different kinds of things to sculpt with ^__^ With my friends' encouragement, customers' smiles and compliments, and Michy's shiny lucky penny, I can make almost anything n_n They're called "Imperfect Kawaii" because I believe they aren't very cute. I must admit, there are LOTS of charm makers out there who makes charms very very very well! I make charms to pass time and because I like cute things and can't always buy too many cell phone charms (I must stop, really, I still buy some today). I've also noticed that they do make "cute" little gifts. I find my work crappy, but when I look at all the little darlings, I could tell they're made with lots of love and a passion to be cute. I hope my customers or future customers understand that regardless of the charm's disfigured shape, they are made specially for them, by me ^___^

Okie 2nd testing...the rundown of things

Okie dokie...so I found a good template. For some reason this website I went to last night to get diff templates, went kaboom! With like lots of virus o_o they need to fix that...

Yay~! So I'm on summer break, woohoo! Got to finish up lots of charms, and study for my TEAS. Gotta score high on that test to make up for crappy GPA to get into the Nursing Programs *crosses fingers* So this will be a very productive summer break ^__^ I go back to school at ELAC end of August.

What I'll do with this blog is post things of stuff I made and a lil story behind them and all the process I went through with them. Every creation has a story in them o^__^o that's what I believe atleast... heehee. Also, I'll also be featuring sellers and customers every other week or every week [depends when I have time, but most likely every other week]. Etsy has been so very good to me, and I want to feature sellers too =] Sooo yea...I'll post another blog on how to become a featured seller. I will feature a customer if they would like to xD only if they want to. I don't want them to haunt me down.
